NAME

ANCESTRY

IDENTITY

A name, a whisper from the past, a story woven into our very being. For those of African heritage, adopted into new lands, a name can be the last shimmering thread connecting them to the vibrant tapestry of their ancestry. It is a marker, a melody, a belonging.

In the journey of adoption, so much is often left behind, but your name, that sacred echo, could have remained a beacon. Each traditional African name is a deliberate bridge, meant to tie you to the lineage that flowed before you, a whisper of grandmothers and warriors, of poets and dreamers. Sometimes, it is the singular remembrance, the only tangible link to the vibrant origin from which you sprang.
